What is Glarity?
Glarity is a web-based download store developed to promote and distribute only edifying, family-friendly media that reflects a Christian worldview and resonates with the narrative of Scripture.
Why Glarity?
We live in a society where ideas are most effectively presented through art forms such as music, photography, and film. However, it seems the vast majority of acclaimed artists are those who engage our culture with godless entertainment.
As a result, an increasing need for God-honoring art is being ignored.
Not to say there aren’t people producing media who have a passion for truth and are seeking to meet this demand. On the contrary, such men and women are great in number! However, few of them are willing or able to fit the mold of the massive music and film distributors who control main-stream media. Consequently, many extremely talented Christian artists settle for a very limited platform in media before fading entirely from view.
The chief objective of Glarity is to bring such artists to the forefront of the world’s attention.
This is the vision that drove Glarity founders David Boskovic, Michael Poythress and Alex Poythress to create a new, first-of-its-kind platform for Christians to sell their content without investing thousands of dollars in physical distribution.
When?
Development began in earnest over 20 months ago and we have been receiving initial content for the store from artists to be included pre-launch for the better part of a year. We recently closed our pre-launch submittion platform in order to convert all submissions over to the new servers and prepare for the opening of the store.
Artist registration will reopen at its new permanent home during the later part of Summer 2008, as the store opens on a limited invitation basis. To receive furthing information about the limited beta launch that will be coming very soon, please just shoot us an email at contact@glarity.com
